Who we are
Dana has 35 years of operations management experience spanning multiple industries. It was a six month live in care giving experience for a bed bound friend that led Dana to found Help To Stay Home. In a short time span Dana had to become a medical advocate, primary caregiver, life coach, assisted living expert and a hospice caregiver. Dana realized there were not adequate resources to help people age in place so she decided to become the resource seniors need to stay in their own homes.
Walter Frankel has led customer service organizations for Fortune 500 companies for over 40 years. In 2003, Walters’ father began to suffer from Alzheimers. Walters’ father wanted to stay in his own home that he had lived in for 60 years. Walter lived in Boston and his father in Philadelphia. Managing every aspect of care and home needs for his father remotely was very difficult. Walter had to put together a network of qualified care givers and honest contractors to help his father to age in place. Walters’ father was able to remain in his home for 16 years.
